FFXVI: Jill Warrick – Black Mage
Jill is a character in the game whose abilities are largely derived from Shiva’s power, rather than her own physical prowess. When not drawing upon Shiva’s might, Jill employs a rapier, a skill acquired during her tenure under the Iron Kingdom’s rule.
Jill’s role is closely associated with that of a Black Mage. At the beginning of the time skip battle, she can be seen wielding her rapier as you advance towards her, but her primary focus is casting long-range Ice spells.
Upon your approach, she may make a few slashes before retreating, contrasting with Benedikta, whose fighting style is similar but more immediate. Jill’s slower pace further cements her position as a Black Mage.
